Freestyle sessions

We run weekly trips to our local snowdome - Castleford Xscape! Because we're awesome, we subsidise the entry price. Castlefords got shed loads of boxes and rails for you to learn your first jump all the way up to nailing those 360's.

Every Wednesday evening 6pm-10pm - £20 including transport, entrance for a 2 hour session and equipment hire.

We are also going to run more Freestyle orientated sessions on Thursday (every few weeks) for people more interested in competing or advanced improvement.

Dryslope sessions

We also run weekly trips to Sheffield Dry Slope. This is an ideal place to perfect your downhill technique.

Every Wednesday afternoon.

Competitions

KINGS

We compete in a league called Kings which is where you'll probably get your first taste of racing and everything that comes with it. There are dryslope individual & team races against all northern uni's. This consists of 5 rounds and goes on to a finals trip weekend which includes lots of partying and the KINGS ball!

BUISC

This is the British Universities Indoor Snowsports Championships. The Northern rounds are held in Castleford Xscape & the southern rounds are held in Milton Keynes. The final this year is held in our local Snowdome Xscape! These events are joined with the'Ski2Help' charity; so it's all for a good cause!

BUDS

We also compete at the British University Dryslope Championships on the 13th-14th November @ the Midlothian Snowsports Centre in Edinburgh AKA 'Hill End'.

It's the longest, steepest dryslope in Britain and we all stay in hostels around the city..message us to get involved!

This is one of the major competitive events of the BUSC calendar in the UK on plastic. Comes with pure entertainment and friendly competition! Friday night @ City Club & Saturday is the BUDS Ball (3 course meal, music and mayhem!

BUSC Main Event

This year it is going to be held in Austria - ask any snowrider that's been before...epic!! It is basically a week long of competitions in the Alps, we'll have more information to come. It is usually the week immediately after our Easter Trip. We are looking to take 20-30 people this year. We are looking for people who show a keen interest, who have competed at some point and want to compete again or have shown a lot of support throughout the year. This trip is heavily subsidised by us.

All comps usually offer awesome prizes such as new boards/skis and come with plenty of partying.
